TMA President and CEO to speak at Council annual meeting

The Council for Burley Tobacco is proud to welcome Chris Greer, TMA President and CEO, to speak at the 2018 annual meeting Friday, January 12 in Lexington, Kentucky!

Chris began his career in telecommunications and regulatory compliance for Verizon Wireless. In 2010 Chris entered the tobacco industry as a manager for regulatory & corporate affairs at JT International U.S.A., Inc., focusing on FDA compliance, external affairs and state/federal government relations for the US market. In 2016 Chris was named to the JTI USA executive team as head of Corporate Affairs & Communications for the US, Caribbean and Central American markets. TMA’s Board of Directors appointed Chris to his present role in March of 2017. Chris holds a political science degree from Gettysburg College. Chris lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife and dog. In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, food and wine, skiing and attempting to play golf.
